Remote Students Help

Real-time web streaming: We now use Zoom for live class attendence.

  1. Upload the Zoom software.
  2. You’ll need a web camera and/or microphone (many web cams have a microphone built in)
  3. See your class “Zoom/Talks” page for the class link
  • Your video and audio quality will depend on the speed of your connection

Some “rules” for attending virtually:

  •  Pretend like you are in the room and avoid “multitasking” with other things on your computer or in the room
  • Unless you are forced to engage with your environment (kids, pets, etc.), please keep your webcam on as much as possible.  Tenzin Jesse and Venerable Dhammadinna like to see their students!
  • Please keep your microphone off, unless you are actually speaking.
  • Use the icons  for turning your microphone and camera on and off

If you need any help with any of this, contact Todd:

Recorded Teachings

Available for Monday, Wednesday and Thursday night classes as well as some special events

Files are stored in “mp3” format which will play on any computer or device

Access the “zoom/talks” page for your class (see links on the home page) to get access to the teachings.  You will need a password (get it from Todd, Tenzin Jesse or Venerable Dhammadinna)

Two options for listening:

  • Just click the link and listen
  • Download the file and listen later when you are offline.  Right-click the link and choose “Save Target As…” or “Save Link As…” and choose a place to save the file on your computer/device.
