The course includes five Monday evening meditation classes led by Carol Meckling, MA and will offer students an experience of the meditations and insights of the Dharma.

Meditation deepens our ability to work with painful emotions and moods, enhancing optimism, patience and even-mindedness in the face of habitual tendencies toward frustration and dissatisfaction.

Dharma practice enables us to bring all our experiences, both pleasant and unpleasant, into the path of compassion and provides a toolbox of practical antidotes for dysfunctional thoughts and feelings.

Bringing clarity and awareness to our mental states, body and feelings, meditation offers us a stable and peaceful happiness that radiates outward to benefit all those with whom we come in contact.
